For you if you’re a fan of Nouvelle Vague, or even if you’re not, frontwoman Nadah Miranda is very kindly playing a solo show here in Berlin, taking up the stage at the small but sweet Kaffee Burger.
The debut album from her, Venus Gets Even, made it out end of last year. A departure from the distinct sound of Nouvelle Vague, her new stuff is more ballsy, quite vaudeville and classic, but at the same time would find itself happily sandwiched between any of your favourite indie pop albums.
That being said, the live shows are what she’s famous for. An Australian girl singing songs about love and life in Europe, all with that certain Parisian cool, some numbers for dancing, some for just quietly swaying.
